Nathan White serves as the Retirement Plan Specialist for Fortress Wealth Planning Group, specializing in helping business owners and organizations design, implement, and optimize employer-sponsored retirement programs that support both business objectives and employee financial success.
With more than two decades of experience in the retirement plan industry, Nathan works closely with business owners and plan sponsors to develop effective defined contribution plans, including 401(k), Solo 40l(k), 403(b) and hybrid programs. His expertise spans plan design, fiduciary best practices, implementation strategy, and ongoing plan support, helping employers navigate regulatory complexity while delivering meaningful retirement benefits to their teams.
Nathan also serves as Executive Vice President and Director of Retirement Plan Sales for Midwestern Securities, Fortress Wealth Planning Group’s broker/dealer. In this role, he helps advisors and plan sponsors develop and service employer-sponsored retirement plans while promoting industry best practices and improved participant outcomes. He also serves on the Midwestern Securities Investment Committee, which oversees the firm’s Lighthouse Portfolios™ investment strategies. Additionally, Nathan is a Financial Consultant at John Graham & Associates (JGA). Fortress Wealth Planning Group is powered by the team at JGA to help bring vital wealth management and employer resources to Fortress customers and the communities they serve.
He holds both the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor® (CPFA®) designations, reflecting his commitment to fiduciary excellence and plan sponsor advocacy. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®), Nathan also helps business owners understand how retirement plans can play a strategic role in broader business and succession planning.
Nathan earned his degree in Economics, with a concentration in Spanish, from Knox College and studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, traveling with his family, weightlifting, and attending his children’s sporting and music events. He is actively involved in his community and has previously served on several local boards, including the Metamora Kids Wrestling Club and the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce.
